Right now, team registration is open for Spin Together and BlackSheep has its own team!  You can join the BlackSheep Voyagers team starting in September.  We also have a Facebook group (BlackSheep Voyagers) for our team members to chat, share inspiration, encourage each other, and show-off our spinning.

Tina and Kelli are both travelling during part of Spin Together, so our team will be focused more on fun than productivity.  If you want a laid-back team to hang-out and spin with, we are your team! You can find out more about Spin Together at

2021 Slow Yarn Crawl!

*It's time for the Slow Yarn Crawl again.  We'll be crawling from May 28 through Sept. 6, 2021.

*A yarn crawl? Yep - even if you can’t travel, or shops aren’t able to open yet, we’re on: the Slow Crawl is virtual this year, too! That actually means you can join in from anywhere!  Whether you are from Oregon, Washington, New York, or Texas, you too can "couch crawl."

* Get a passport from this shop or other participating shops (they’re $10)

* Starting May 28nd, visit all the shops - online, or safely in person once that’s an option

* Each participating shop will give you the download codes for their pattern and a sticker or stamp for your passport (purchase required for virtual “visits”)

* Fill up your passport, and be eligible for prizes!

*All Slow Crawlers who make a purchase with BlackSheep during the crawl will be entered for one of the 3 BlackSheep prizes.

*For more info about the Slow Yarn Crawl, click here.

Charity Knitting

All year long we support Doernbecher Children's Hospital with handmade hats. Send your hat from infant to teen size to Tina at 1310 NE 21st Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97124 and spread a little cheer to the patients at Doernbecker. (Locals can drop off their hat at one of the weekly meet-ups or arrange a drop off with Tina at home!)

Hats aren't your thing? Try Knitted Knockers, the Welcome Blanket, or Hearts for Portland! Giving back to the community through crafting is an important part of who BlackSheep is! Send your crafted items to BlackSheep for collection. We will send them on to the right charity.

Do you have a charity you like to craft for, but it is not on our list? Contact Tina at
